Minimum Qualifications

The Fund Manager should demonstrate suitable technical and managerial experience and qualifications to execute the tasks set out in a SCAF Cooperating Fund Agreement. Specifically, the Fund Manager should have:
- Proven experience and track record in successfully developing clean energy projects, managing private equity, venture capital or special purpose investment funds in developing countries.
- Demonstrated technical competence in energy project appraisal and experience in working with indigenous small and medium enterprises.
- Adequate financial management and accounting capacity to meet fiduciary requirements.
- Sound financial track record and integrity with a good reputation for service quality and delivery.
- In-house capacity or access to a reputable network of local or regional entities to deliver enterprise development services to prospective entrepreneurs and project developers.
